Beautiful razor with a major flaw

Handle is really beautiful. Chromed head parts for the double edge razor look "cheap". Major issue is the DE razor blade tabs protrude from the sides. Have cut myself more than once. Only solution: take a scissor and gently and carefully trim tabs sightly..be sure to wear eye protection as well.
