Craftsmanship
The Chicago Razor is cast from plant-based precious resin — a material that captures color and geometry in ways wood and metal cannot. Each handle is hand-mixed and poured individually, producing a surface of crystallized geometric shapes in red, yellow, and olive. The pattern is set during casting. It cannot be replicated.
After casting, each handle is turned, fitted with heavy chrome hardware, and finished with our Cirolex® coating. The result is a razor that feels substantial in hand and holds up to daily use.
This is a well-made tool with a distinctive look. It is designed to perform, not just display.

What blades are compatible with the Ace Shave Set?
Each handle is designed to fit standard Gillette® blades (Fusion, Mach3, Venus) AND Safety Razor blades. Just choose your preferred type at checkout and you’ll always be able to find replacements easily in stores or online.
Do you offer a warranty or guarantee?
Yes, all Imperium razors are made to the highest standards. If your razor ever fails under normal use, we’ll repair or replace it.
Can this razor get wet?
Absolutely. Our finishes are specially formulated to resist water damage, swelling, and cracking. Just be sure to store your razor dry after use.

Each razor is meticulously handcrafted in our Raleigh, NC workshop by skilled artisans who combine traditional woodworking techniques with modern finishing to create a tool as durable as it is beautiful.
